The New Plymouth Aero Club is located at the NP Airport on the outskirts of the City of New Plymouth in the North Island of New Zealand. The location offers a unique mixture of coastal and mountainous terrain. The 8260 ft peak of Mount Egmont is approximately 30 km to the south of the city.
The Fleet
The New Plymouth Aero Club has a fleet of 7 modern aircraft. We also have a programme to continually update our fleet. We were the first New Zealand Aero Club to purchase a brand new Cessna 172 when the US manufacturer recommenced production after a 15 year break.
